Hymns and Music
for
Creation Liturgies and Services

The writings, music, and traditions
of our Christian faith are rich in seasonal and natural
reflection. The hymns and music are not something
new, from the last half of the 20th Century, but they
are timeless, extending back to the beginnings of humankind's
relationship with God and God's Creation. The
Episcopal Ecological Network (EEN) seeks to provide
users with as large a choice of music from as many different
denominations as possible.
Presently, the most complete
listing of Hymns
is available through the Environmental Stewardship Commission
of the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota.

Neither of these sources specifically
identifies music focused on honoring God's Creation, but
they do contain extensive listings for personal research.

The EpEN
is a national network of active lay and clergy persons
within the Episcopal
Church, USA, who share a common concern for
the environment and a common belief in the presence
of God in all Creation and who work to make these concerns
and beliefs known throughout all Provinces and Dioceses
within the church. Members come from around the
Episcopal
Church, USA. The activities of the EpEN
are focused on the areas of Reflection, Education, and
Action.
