Seek to Reduce the Use of PaperResolution 1991-D087 |
Seek to Reduce the Use of PaperResolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the Episcopal Church, at the national, provincial, diocesan, and local levels, seek diligently and intentionally to reduce the use of paper in the conduct of its business; and be it further Resolved, That the Episcopal Church adopt as policy the practice of printing and photocopying on both sides of the paper it uses; and be it further Resolved, That this resolution be communicated as a directive to all offices, commission, committees, the Episcopal News Service, and other agencies of the Church. The EpEN is a national network of active lay and clergy persons within the Episcopal Church, USA, who share a common concern for the environment and a common belief in the presence of God in all Creation and who work to make these concerns and beliefs known throughout all Provinces and Dioceses within the church. Members come from around the Episcopal Church USA. The activities of the EpEN are focused on the areas of Reflection, Education, and Action.
