The Episcopal Ecological Network (EpEN)

Each of us (individually and in our congregations and dioceses) work to expand our activities and energize our leaders to be concerned about God's Creation and our relationship to it. Recently the concept of a Green Team has surfaced as a workable way to educate others and lead them to action in their churches and communities. Green Team is not a template but a concept for individuals and groups to use. Below are a series of questions have arisen about Green Teams.

The EpEN is a national network of active lay and clergy persons within the Episcopal Church, USA, who share a common concern for the environment and a common belief in the presence of God in all Creation and who work to make these concerns and beliefs known throughout all Provinces and Dioceses within the church.  Members come from around the Episcopal Church USA.  The activities of the EpEN are focused on the areas of Reflection, Education, and Action.
